cut...

Hi,

I would like to get CDROM-drive "letter".

I thought I could do it this way:
dmesg | grep ROM | grep Cache | cut -d":" -f1

This part is OK:
dmesg | grep ROM | grep Cache=20

But cut doesn't work the way I thought.

How does cut (lua) work?
