You need smbmnt in your path as it is called by smbmount, hence the symbolic links in my instructions (see my previous post).

Two things I didn't mention in my post were that I was using tomsrtbt 2.0.103 and that I still get errors reported about not being able to find samba.conf etc. But it does work.
