TSL 3.0.5 and postgresql...

I just reinstalled an old box with 3.0.5, and set up postgresql..

After running initdb, I got this message when trying to start postgresql

An old version of the database format was found.\nYou need to upgrade 
the data format before using PostgreSQL.\nSee 
/usr/share/postgresql-8.2.3/README.rpm.dist for more information.


This would seem to be an error in the packaging of postgres.. initdb 
shouldn't be creating "old format" databases.
