I believe if one manages to take the header apart without damaging it 
(shouldn't be too hard with a small screwdriver... hint for those who 
haven't done it before, carefully lift the little plastic tab holding 
the pins in place while pulling *gently* on that wire), it's probably 
best to then reinsert the pins into the header in the correct positions 
to avoid shorting out...  (I noticed on mine the connectors were rather 
close to shorting against each other).

So, what exactly do you use (in the way of programs/drivers) to have fun 
with this beastie?  I usually only use Linux (I have windows installed 
on my laptop, but haven't used it in so long I don't know if it even 
boots).  What drivers are available?  Where?  Any way I could get a copy 
of that DOS boot CD?

Link?  I just hooked up the USB and would love to play with it... I know 
it's being recognized, as Linux enumerates the device, but it doesn't 
know what kind of driver to use.

Thanks for any more info.  I'm glad to see this project going places 
again.  :)
