Dear Actiontec Dual PC Modem Hackers:

You may be interested to know that I've built a working uClinux kernel for 
my Actiontec Dual PC modem using 100% GPL source code.  The kernel appears 
to be stable and is running on the unmodified "stock" Actiontec ROM file 
system.  (OK...I did add "set -v" to the beginning of the file "/etc/rc".)

The Actiontec configuration Web pages work just like with a "stock" 
Actiontec box.  I used the re-built kernel to configure my username, 
password and dial-up telephone number and then connect to my ISP's 56K 
dial-up lines and surf the Internet and send and receive email...with zero 
problems.  Let's see if it stays up overnight! :-)

I will post details on the Wiki over the weekend.  This had been a lot of 
work, and I thank all the people that have helped make it possible, and 
especially Actiontec, for honoring their obilgations under the terms of 
the GNU General Public License.

Consider this box "cracked"...let the fun begin!
