I'm afraid yes, at least if you don't add the module back. Sorry, but there is 
nothing that allows me to distribute the non-GPL parts. Some time ago, 
somebody had contact with Actiontec. Maybe he can ask Actiontec if they allow 
me to do it...

However, you can always add back the module. And as romfs stores files in one 
chunk, we can also introduce a way to add the module without regenerating the 
romfs, simply by including a dummy file of the same length and overwriting it 
with the module file.
