Hi Daniel,
I managed to set up DDD today and do some debugging. What I did:

- configure the kernel for zImage
- CONNFIG_ZBOOT_ROM, so that my zImage can run from flash
- then I loaded this zImage to the Flash and using my JTAG adaptor I can connect with the DDD debugger and step through the code, even with C symbols when I use the file arch/arm/boot/compressed/vmlinux. With the help of this, I could see that the Code works until it reaches inflate.c, Line 579. There it comes to an endless loop, and I don't know why :-( Do you have some idea?

then what are the instructions around LR (aka R14) when it has entered
the exception handler?
