Okay.

The site that you quoted has commercial support from ARM. I've used those
compilers in the past to do some bare-metal OS work. So, I'm pretty certain
the builds provided do work correctly for their respective platform.

But, I'm not a Windows developer. The closest I get to working in a Windows
environment is Cygwin. I would never try to run the GCC natively in Windows
as that is technically trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. Sure it
can be done but why? Use the tools that make your life easier. Therefore,
doing debugging of uCLinux apps and/or kernel in a Windows environment is
probably going to give you difficulty as you are starting to see.

Good luck with your endeavor.
