One problem with this implementation is that if the origin is set to a fixed
value, elements in a diagram can also have coordinates < 0 (e.g.
https://invent.kde.org/sdk/umbrello/-/blob/master/models/diagrams/sequence/all-elements.xmi),
which means that they are no longer visible at certain zoom levels and cannot
be selected in the overview
