Deployment diagram

Hi,
 
I'm trying to use Umbrello for the first time.  I really only need it to draw UML diagrams, as a Visio replacement.
 
I'm trying to create a deployment diagram.  So, I'm placing a node in the diagram, and I expect to be able to place components inside it.  That doesn't seem to be possible, though.  I can't resize the node manually, and it doesn't auto-resize to fit the component.  Also, either the component or the node will be on top, hiding the other.
 
I realize that Umbrello is designed to do data modeling, not just draw diagrams, but is it not possible to do a deployment diagram?  Am I missing some feature that would allow me to do what I want?
