upnpd starting problem

OS: redhat enterprise linux 3 update 2 
Internet connection: ADSL PPPoE, eth1 -> adsl modem, ppp0 virtual if
libupnp-1.2.1a.tar.gz 
linux-gid get from cvs

libupnp, linux-gid compilation and installation success without error

when executing upnpd ppp0 eth0,  error occur
/usr/sbin/upnpd: relocation error: /lib/libupnp.so: undefined symbol:
_ZTVN10__cxxabiv120__si_class_type_infoE

ps: 
eth0 connect to private lan
eth1 connect to adsl modem
ppp0 virtual network adaptor for pppoe
