can not get any multicast packet.

It is bit technical question. sorry

I made a network control point with libupnp sdk .

Test bed list like this.

device : windows XP ICS service

control Point : libupnp SDK

It does work perfectly.

But If I start and stop ICS service , event packet is not coming even My control point

runs as root privilige.

And strange thing is If I run control point and ethereal with promiscuous mode together,

then all the event packet is comming to my control point program.

I don 't know why is that and What do I have to do to get event multicast packet without ethereal ?

plz help ..
