I have done a lot of work on Windows, and I have built UPnP devices for
Windows using the Microsoft Device Host library. Now I would like to create
a UPnP device in an embedded system.

Is anyone on this mailing list using libupnp on an embedded platform
(as opposed to a desktop or laptop)?
If so, what is your platform?

I am considering the following platform.

Gumstix (http://www.gumstix.com)
CPU, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Linux for about $160
Specifically mentions "Linux kernel 2.6.10", is this compatible with
libupnp?

Any others to consider?

I have never worked with Linux before; so what else should I watch out for?

Thanks,
Jake
