Help regarding Listing of files

Dear All, I wanted to make a media server for linux . I have build my server over libupnp library. I am able to list directories which could be seen through any Upnp based media player. but the thing is i am unable to list my directories. I will be realy thankfull if some one could tell me how to add the files (in responce to browse action request) or can tell me about any reference material for building media server over libupnp.
