I have seen comments that this project has not progressed due to a lack of interest by developers. There have been many bugs, feature requests and patches posted yet none of these have been addressed or added to CVS. The mediatomb project is in the process of rolling libupnp into the source tree due to the current lack of active development but I'd like to continue to provide a separate media server agnostic library for general use. Some of the currently registered libupnp developers have indicated they are willing to hand the project over to others who are willing to actively develop the library. I'd like to take them up on that as I see little evidence that there will be any updates to the library otherwise. I would like to added to the project as an admin and for the currently registered developers to consider whether they wish to continue being involved in the project or drop off. The library as it stands is a great piece of work but it has lost all momentum. I see a big future for upnp infrastructure and if this project isn't responsive then I will fork the library into a new project. I am not intending this message to be a threat or ultimatum (as email can often portray). Cheers ------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
