Not entirely true ;>. Although Intel does have new UPnP technology available, the open source SDK still lives on in the open source community, hosted by Sourceforge. In fact as recently as February Intel released an update to the open source SDK providing significant improvements in memory consumption and fixing a number of bugs. The new Intel Press book, "UPnP: Design By Example" (of which I am a co-author) also prominently features the open source SDK, as well as some of our newer development tools for UPnP. So, although Intel continues to innovate and develop new and exciting UPnP related technologies and solutions, the open source SDK still has an important place in the Universal Plug and Play developer community. After all, you can't beat the cost ;>. I'd suggest you to try another stack provided by Intel. http://www.intel.com/labs/connectivity/upnp/ John Kai Fu -Pioneer ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Etnus, makers of TotalView, The best thread debugger on the planet.
