Could you make sure that you have no firewall enabled?

 but the tvcontrolpoint application says

   I am not providing any arguments to both the programs. I am running both
 the programs in the same machine in two different shells. Can anyone suggest
 me the solution for the cntrlpoint to recognize the tv device.
