Although you cannot run these applications in Windows, you can run them on
the Linux machine you built them on; and then use other Windows based tools
(such as Intel's Tools for UPnP Technology:
http://www.intel.com/technology/upnp/index.htm
<http://www.intel.com/technology/upnp/index.htm> ) to interact with the
device.

Tvdevice is a UPnP Device, while tvctrlpt is a UPnP Control Point that can
interact with the tvdevice. Simply run each from the command line. I'd
suggest taking a look at the source code for each sample program as well as
the included documentation if you want to learn more. Also, make sure you
have the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable set to the location of the
generated libupnp.so binary.

Hope that helps,
-Jack
