We just tried compiling our linux-igd software (http://linux-igd.sourceforge.net) version 0.92 with the new Intel SDK 1.2. The only thing we changed was all references of Upnp_Document to IXML_Document, UpnpParse_Buffer to ixmlParseBuffer, UpnpDocument_free to ixmlDocument_free, and maybe one more similar to this. After recompiling, and loading, everything seems ok but there is a significant problem: Before the change, and with the addition of the change mentioned in our install file (line 406 in ssdplib.c in version 1.0.4, changed to htonl(INADDR_ANY)), MSN messenger works fine, it uses UPnP for everything. However, after switching to the new SDK and not messing with anything else other than the conversion to ixml, now msn does not use Upnp for anything except file transfer (I suspect msn is simply requesting the addportmap regardless of if it thinks it can or not). Has anyone else noticed this problem? I looked for where we might need to make that code modification in version 1.2 of the SDK, but it appears that you guys (Intel) already made that change. Can anyone comment that has switched from Intel's SDK version 1.0.4 to 1.2.1? Thanks a lot guys. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by:Crypto Challenge is now open!
