IE-only sites

There's one absolute annoyance with Linux (and by "absolute" I mean one that
can't be overcome as far as I know, being all others "relative" :-))

Here's the big issue: The impossibility to use some *crucial* websites with
Internet Explorer only. I'm referring to e-commerce and e-business sites,
which are an essential backbone of the internet.

I can't use Linux because of this only and HUGE problem. I build and sell
custom computers. I buy the parts from main suppliers like IngramMicro (to
name just a worldwide one). For different reasons I only buy online (due to
low volume, some of my providers only allow me to do it that way). Well, I
would have to stop my business completely (hence an "absolute" annoyance) if
I switched to Linux.

Moreover (and what's worse), as an individual, I also shop a lot online. I
don't know if this a Spain-only problem or it's worldwide, but I had to give
up on Firebird because I could only "go sightseeing" on the internet with
it, but no way to buy plane or bus tickets, DVDs or, as I said earlier,
computer parts.

I must insist in the words "as far as I know", because I have been only
trying and I'm by no means a Linux guru.

Regards,

Pablo
