annoyances that i have not mastered

java has me totally beat.i can d/l and install but i need to do a symlink and 
cannot get the command right.it is prolly one little space or something 
beating me but right now it has me beat.
the other day someone was talking about the eliteness attitude and i have to 
say that sometimes as a newbie that i even do not understand how people can 
come asking for help with the most basic problems without even trying to 
read.and i dont think i am anywhere tech smart.in fact i am very slow to 
learn.i have to read and re read a lot. but sometimes the littlest and 
simplest can hang us up eliteness attitude
