Book Project: Working Outline

On behalf of Dee, Justin and I, I want to thank everyone for your
contributions to our research. I believe that your comments on this list;
Slashdot and elsewhere have helped us focus on the annoyances that plague
Linux users and administrators daily.

To show our thanks for your feedback, I wish to welcome you to a dedicated
section of my personal website,

our working book outline.

Please make yourself at home! Look over our outline and let us know (on this
list of course) what you think. If you feel we have missed or misinterpreted
something or simply wish to reinforce something, by all means let us know.

While you're there, you may come across two other pages of interest.
<http://www.weinstein.org/linuxannoyances/index.html> is a collection of
news items and links for the project. Feel free to use this page to keep
track of the work as time progresses.

The other page, <http://www.weinstein.org/linuxannoyances/archive.html>, is
a database archive of Linux annoyances as collected so far by Dee, Justin
and I. For the moment this database is experimental and once working will be
our primary source to work from.

We do have plans to open this database to the public in the future. However,
along with the alpha quality code currently in place, we have other pressing
work (an outline to finalize, a book to write, publish!). Therefore I need
to ask, if you need to look something up or reference a past post, please
use the public mailing list archive at:
