The application for which I have the biggest peeve concerning this (mostly
because I use it a lot) is Mozilla.  It was first reported as bugzilla bug
#64319.  This bug was opened December 2000.  Which means that after more
than 2 1/2 years, it has yet to be fixed.  Pasting *from* Mozilla is bug
37057.  Well over 3 years.
