OK. Here is my experience. I don't use a 3 button mouse but a wheelmouse ( I 
think I wouldn't survive without a wheel).
I click on an URL, copy it and go to Mozilla. Right  click in the addressbar 
and all the options are grayed out, so I cannot paste.
However using ( clicking) the wheel copies the URL.
I didn't know that at first but I think I got it from the Mozilla list .
