Just to sum up.
a)Mouse cut/copy/paste works with all the applications in linux.
b)Its behaviour is different from MS. It works as follows.
1)Highlight with LEFT mouse. (This is equivalent to highlight and
Copy of MS)
2)Go to where you want to pate and click MIDDLE mouse button.
This works independent of whether it is scrol mouse or
'normal' 3 button mouse.
3) What ever you have marked previous to your latest marking
is also available on the clipboard. In of KDE any of these
can be chosen from the Klipper pad on your toolbar, to be
pasted (Of course using just a middle mouse button click.)
In the MOZILLA case when you click on the URL column for
pasting, may be what ever text that is already there gets
highlighted and thus gets copied to clipboard. So what ever
you wanted to paste is not in the top of the clipboard list.
May be this is a confusion. BUT YOU CAN CHOOSE IT
FROM THE KLIPPER as mentioned above and pated.
4)If you are using a 2 button mouse and has enabled 'emulate
three button', then the function of clicking just the middle button
in a 3 button mouse(for pasting) is replaced with simultaneuos
clicking of both the buttons.
c)Some people find this easy others find MS way easy while others
prefer it the linux way.
