Also the ugly truth is that if you can work with Linux/Unix you are way
ahead of 85% of the Windows Admins out there (including a majority of
the MCSEs) I have been over this again and again it doesn't matter what
OS you prep on-the problem is that MS hides the details and in Linux you
see the details and that is why it is used--afterwards moving to Windows
for those that desire to is not a problem (Windows uses the same base
technologies they just tweak them badly)  I put myself through college a
few years ago (late twenties and helped some fellow Windows only people
through many programming classes--easiest way to get them to actually
program correctly was working with the code-which surprisingly many had
never seen in Windows and I am talking basic algorithms (they just used
VB and everything turned out about as fast as bubble sort) As the never
dived into the code (is not possible so much in VB) they were at a loss
when it came to C, C++, Java, PERL.......  This is Windows truest
weakness and why it does not belong in computer science programs.
