I usually tell them they are bloody idiots when they use something without knowing how it

I also point out to them that ISO9000 standards forbids them to use software that isn't proven 
to be correct and error free, and then I ask them how they can prove it to their own satisfaction 
if they can't view the source. Then I remind them that new laws in Australia mean that 
company directors are sent to jail when a company is found liable and/or placed into 
receivership.

It usually makes them nervous and they think I'm a pain in the ass for reminding them of those 
bad things they'd rather not think about, especially as I smile a lot and enjoy myself thoroughly 
when I say them. :^)

But what do I care, they are bloody idiots, if they weren't they would not have made it to 
management level.
