Maybe its because no linux browser NEEDS a google button. Mozilla: Key in your search term, click Search and it searches google or what ever search engine you set up. Kongueror: key in search term, hit enter (or click go). If its not a url it will lauch a google search (or what ever search engine you set up). If the term is ambiguous, preceed it with gg: and it will go to google. I t just knows what to do, without a the crutch of a button. Opera for Linux: Already has a search field that searches what ever engine you want. Question: Can you add any other button to Windows browsers besides Google and Lycos? There are a lot of specialized search engines out there and windows makes no attempt to facilitate their use. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
