Try MozillaFirebird, it has a google toolbar. Version 0.7 was released
today. Also, try thunderbird instead of the generic mozilla mailer. Or
try evolution. It looks a lot like outlook, so you should be more
comfortable with it. Outgoing email is simple, just use localhost as
the SMTP destination. Linux is capable of sending mail by itself, it
doesn't need a mail server to do that. I don't get the part about goofy
calendar dates. Can you elaborate? As far as Linux developers telling
you to get lost, that rarely happens when you are polite and when you
send them good information. For example, this will work:
Hi, I'm trying to use your Frammitz email package. If I forget to
include the destination address and press SEND, the package crashes,
with a message reading "Segmentation fault".
But this won't:
Your program is the worst one I've ever seen. I hate linux. Yuck! It
never works. I'm ready to throw Linux in the river.
Note that your last message is much like the second example...
