How fast can one expect it to be if there's only ONE user logged in? clearly
faster than KDE.
We're talking workstation/office 'puter here, not frigging AT&T mail server.

@Zed: compiling X and KDE from src with CPU optimization takes bloody ages but
results in a clear speed-up.
