And it's an especially good reply to the IDC survey M$ commissioned
which claims that Windows is cheaper to operate than Linux.

Since this is a M$ document, it could be a good source of quotes to
refute.

On the salary issue, does anyone know how the *nix community
compares to the M$ communtity in terms of education? Generally,
occupations requiring higher levels of education correlate to higher
salaries. Might this apply in this instance?
