Hi Jeroen,

	early this year I've spent some time putting down a short document 
that, between other things, reports some case-histories about OSS 
adoption throughout Italy and Europe (and also somewhere world-wide).

	Unfortunatly it has never ended to a final version but maybe you'll 
find something useful in it.

	Feel free to give a look to it, expecially to section 2 and to

	Although I heard (..and read) about Extremadura and Munich, I didn't 
know anything about Lombardia's case. Please, can you give me some 
details (URL?) about such OSS VPN project?

	Even if the SOS Website is focused on a world-wide scenario, I'm sure 
you'll find on it several details about other european project. You can

	Finally, last march, in Pisa (-Italy-), there was an Open Source
conference focused on Public Administrations. It was a national-wide
conference whose speakers come from various municipalities, universities
and other Public Administrations all around Italy. Unfortunatly for you,
