I don't have much to test and I tried a card reader. It is an usb2.0 high
speed devce (while the scanner is usb 1) and I don't seem to have probs with
the cardreader. I didn't quite get which modules to unload. I ditched all of
usb and I tried usb_storage alone. Doesn't seem to make a problem. But the
card reader is self-powered while the scanner is not. Could that make a
difference?
