Good point. No I didn't, my device does not do high speed.

The tty layer has a buffer between device and ldisc which grows
up to 64k. This buffer should normally be empty, since
tty_flip_buffer_push() shoves everything to the ldisc as fast as
possible. So there should be nearly 64k available when throttling starts.
