Thanks Alan, I will apply this to hid tree. Are you aware of any faulty 
scenario/hardware which triggers this bug, or you detected this only by 
reading the code? (i.e. is it 2.6.21 material, or is it enough to queue it 
for 2.6.22 merge window?).
