I have a VGP-MCA20 Memory Card Adapter that fits in the ExpressCard slot
of a Vaio SZ3. When I insert a 1GB SD card into the adapter, it is not
detected correctly, whereas it does work in a Shuttle card reader
attached to an SN41G.

Here are the messages when the adapter is inserted:

usb 5-4: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 6
usb 5-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
scsi3 : SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
