is hanging related to a hardware probelm?

hi all, i don't know why my pc host computer hangs after running my usb application that is connected to OMAP kit (which is the gadget). the application is streaming a movie from the host to the gadget then the gadget sends it back to the host. the pc just hangs up and i think this is a problem in the hardware not in my applications. after i restart my pc i have checked that the gadget had sent the movie back successfully. so is there any suggestion why this hanging happens? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
