Data is a few kb, but I suspect that the problem here could be "how many
simultaneous connections", not "how much data". My script scans and sends
files continously. I think some sort of race condition is more likely to
happen in thins case than overflow or bandwidth issues.

hcitool, sdptool & obexftp. However I landed here after posting the same
problem on [email protected] and getting only a "ask
linux-usb-dev" reply...

Maybe. The problem is to know *WHEN* the problem happened, since it happens
only in production systems and we realize it happened quite a bit later.
However I understand that here certain architectural choices are the ones
to blame.

If you knew by any chance a good brand/model of bluetooth dongles that would
fix the problem, that would be the best short-term solution for us.

Lucio.
