Hi there!

Long time ago this E220-discussion took place and long time after
that i got some time to send mails, try to figure out what udev does
and finally (again long time after that) found some test victims
for the scripts :)

The scripts are reported to work under serveral distros like
OpenSuse 10.2 and Slackware 12.

That sounds nice but a little question remains:

The source of Miroslav Bobovsky has only a handfull of important lines:

If I understand everything right we do not need the first 3.

Could anyone from Huawei confirm that???

So I hope everyone is now fine with that solution...

Just let the attached script "install" the "driver", plug in your device and
fire up your favorite ppp-soft :)
