Very odd. Unfortunately I'm quite busy with something else at this time,
so I'm afraid you'll have to figure it out for yourself with judicious
application of printk if you are in a hurry. Sorry. But I'll be happy
to look at any patches, because I know that the 2.4 driver may have issues.
Just this specific one doesn't ring a bell at all; there aren't any
30 second timeouts in the driver.
