error in the system

                                             Thank you Alan Stern sir.iam new to linux.now i have one more pronblem sir.while i writing large file(above 3MB) into the mass storage device there is error occur in the system which is " MAKE SURE  YOU SPECIFY THE PATH NAME AND FILE NAME".after that i cannot open the files in the usb and cannot write the files into the usb.so further what i do sir.
