fwiw I just added support for this to the PowerTOP version in 
subversion for those who want to play with this.. it's really nice :)

(I won't release a version of PowerTOP with this in of course until 
the kernel interface is approved)

it looks like this:

Wakeups-from-idle per second : 187.8    interval: 15.0s
Top causes for wakeups:
   39.6% (120.5)   USB device  3-1 : BCM92035DGROM (Broadcom)
   34.2% (100.0)       <interrupt> : yenta, uhci_hcd:usb3
