I've compiled kernel 2.6.22.9, it seems to work (the modem is recognized and the cdc-acm module is load). I've attached the dmesg of a boot with this kernel (I've enough knowledge to understand what is going on, but AFAIK, it seems to make have trouble and then it seems to be able to recover those trouble. I'm now compiling kernel 2.6.16.54 (to see if there are changes in the behavior).
