Dear All, Can any one of you please tell the function to be called from within a kernel level usb client driver to issue a reset and reenumerate my device . Ideally i want to issue a reset to the device and i expect it to reenumerate - ie the subsytem should call the detach and later attach of my kernel level usb client driver. What exactly is the expected behaviour of usb_reset_device(usbdev * ) call. Though it is creating a device reset, the kernel/usbcore/subsystem is not detecting the device removal / arrival. Please clear my doubt. Thanks for your help and time in advance Jithu Joseph Engr - Software SCM Microsystems India Pvt Ltd Tidel Park Chennai.
