	Hello,

Recently I bought 2GB flash MP3 player Nexx NF-315, firmware version
02.10.41 <http://www.nexxdigital.com/product-detail.php?id=18> and
discovered that it don't work under GNU/Linux (tried several different
distribs and computers), but works under Win XP without installing any
additional drivers. After plugging in to the USB bus, block device
/dev/sd[a-z] never appears and there are bunch of read errors in logs
(attached, see nexx_kernel_log.txt). After some experimentation I found
out that initial inquiry message always fails and confuses device. I
have written patch for drivers/usb/storage/unusual_devs.h which applies
cleanly against latest GNU/Linux kernel 2.6.23 (attached, see
nexx_nf-315.patch). After applying this patch and recompiling kernel,
flash player works perfectly without any problems. Copy of
/proc/bus/usb/devices with attached device running with this patch
included, as required (see nexx_proc.txt). Can you please integrate my
patch into mainline kernel tree? Feel free to contact me for any
additional information you need.

Best wishes,
