I'm with Matt on this one. I realize your patch fixes things for you, but
it's likely that's just a coincidence. It would be useful to see if changing
delay_use fixes things, and at what value.

BTW, Matt - I was out of the country for a few weeks, and I'm mostly caught
up on email now... so if anything is waiting on me, then I've missed it or
accidentally deleted it... so feel free to forward it on.
