Um...the devices you are referring to when using /sys/bus/sub are the host controllers, am I right? So if I am understanding all of this correctly, the host controller would be telling the gadget what interface/function it needs.... Somehow I was expecting the gadget (in this case a printer with a nice GUI) to be able to present different interfaces to the hosts depending on a user selection from within (so the gadget would be chosing what functionality to present at a given moment in time)....it seemed reasonable... Please could you confirm that I am in the 'right' track? In Linux you can change configurations by writing the new config value to /sys/bus/usb/device/.../bConfigurationValue (where ... is the device path).
