Genius KB-29E USB Keyboard problems

Hello,

I have a Genius KB-29E USB Keyboard but it seems like its multimedia
keys are not properly supported by Linux.

I tried to find out what to do to support it but I'm a bit stuck...

When plugged in, it appears as 2 separate input devices:

input: HID 0566:3004 as /class/input/input3
input: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [HID 0566:3004] on usb-0000:00:10.2-2
input: HID 0566:3004 as /class/input/input4
input,hiddev96: USB HID v1.10 Device [HID 0566:3004] on usb-0000:00:10.2-2

Normal keys are appearing on input3, but the multimedia keys are
appearing on input4.

The keycodes reported when pressing the keys are the standard ones, i.e.
when pressing a volume key:

hid-core.c: report (size 4) (numbered)
hid-core.c: report 3 (size 3) =  00 20 00
...
hid-debug: input Button.00e9 = 1
...

So the problem is that why do it has 2 devices? Is it possible somehow
to "merge" them into one?
