Registering USB Driver With Hotplug ?

Hi All,
I have written a usb driver for my pen drive.
I can compile .ko file for my kernel successfully.
But I don't know how to install it. OR we can say, how
to register this .ko with hotplug system.
Also, whenever I insert my pen drive default driver
gets loaded.. I want to stop this feature also..
How should I test my driver?
Please give me step by step information for installing
and testing my module..
