2.6.23.11 : ehci not working with a710 camera

Hi,

when I plug my canon a710 camera on my ehci (via) controller I got 
endless "new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address" [1].

AFAIK it was working nice with 2.6.21 kernel.

Removing ehci module make work the camera, but the transfert is slow 
(and that not a solution).

What could be done to make the camera work again ?
